Meet Annabelle Treadwell, a 23-year-old content creator who recently moved to Dallas, TX after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. She works in sales by day and loves all things fashion, lifestyle, and wellness. A storyteller at heart, Annabelle brings people together—whether through social media, hosting events, or collaborating with brands she loves. Her hosting style is playful, personal, and always on-theme, with tajin-rimmed margaritas, curated playlists, and a welcoming vibe that makes everyone feel at home.
I start with the theme or the event and go from there! Recently had a DWTS watch party and based the menu, drinks, and decor off of that.
If it is not a watch party (usually for DWTS, Bachelorette, Love Island, or another show) where you have something to watch, I love to have a cocktail-making station or something similar where people can go and make drinks together and have an activity to do together.
Hosting can feel overwhelming but making sure everyone is fed, has a drink in hand, and is enjoying themselves takes a lot of energy. The key is preparation: ensuring your space is clean, your food and drinks are ready, and everything looks just the way you envisioned sets the foundation for a great event. Once the guests arrive, it’s best to let things flow naturally. Take a step back and let all your thoughtful prep—the decor, the curated cocktails, and themed snacks—work their magic.

Again, an on-theme drink is always a must (a fun margarita never disappoints!). When it comes to food, I like to mix lighter bites with something a bit more filling. For snacks, chips and dips, a candy bowl, and some sweet desserts are always crowd-pleasers. For lunch or dinner, one of my favorite easy yet chic options is catering a spread of sushi rolls. It’s light, fun, and so delicious. If sushi isn’t the vibe, go for pizza — but make it special by ordering from a fresh, local spot instead of a chain.
Depends on the mood but usually a mix of Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, Chappell Roan, Ella Langley, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey.
After moving to Dallas, TX, I decided to host my first big get-together this past July, my 23rd birthday party! Since margaritas are my favorite drink and pink is my favorite color, I went all out with a pink-and-green theme. I was a little nervous going into it because I invited both my new work friends and my college friends, and most of them hadn’t met yet. We kicked off the night with a group dinner on the patio of a Mexican restaurant, where I surprised everyone with a first round of classic margs and a big cheers to celebrate. After dinner, everyone came back to my apartment, which I had decorated with pink and green balloons, and we danced the night away before blowing out the candles on my cake. It was the perfect mix of new beginnings, good friends, and plenty of margaritas!

Right after I get an idea to host I go straight to Pinterest, make a new board, and load it up with inspo. Recently I have loved cute glassware and fun garnishes or drink stirrers because they make the drinks picture perfect! When I need new glasses I run to Anthropologie’s glassware section. They have glasses with little icons for every occasion—the favorites I use on the daily are my ones with limes and ones with pink bows. For decor I usually just order off of Amazon because it is so fast and easy and they have everything.
