I decide on the type of cuisine first. People gather where the good food is!
We typically entertain groups of 8 - 10 guests. An intimate setting for quality time. We like to organize groups with friends that are familiar with one another, and sometimes add in a new couple here and there. Our main focus when planning a group is to ensure we can have solid conversation.
I love and collect glassware, so I would focus on items that would complement my glassware of choice.
I typically have found that as long as the menu is ready to serve, rather than leaving to last minute, things go really smoothly. Setting the table the night before hosting also makes it all that much more manageable.
Raclette for winter is our go to. We also love to serve up sushi.

Founder Sonya Vega, creating a modern take on mezcal began simply as a passion project. Vega’s love of mezcal was sparked by her Mexican friends and family who introduced her to the fascinating world of this stellar agave-based liquor. While Vega was obsessed with the bold taste, she found that many versions were too smoky or overbearing. During her free time, the former PR executive was determined to create the perfect mezcal, traveling throughout the Oaxaca region of Mexico to research and finesse her blend. The result? An amazing full-time career and Doña Vega Mezcal. Vega’s current and creative blend honors the bold tradition and unique flavors of this centuries old spirit with a modern twist.
